We love producers who release tracks for free along with tracks on beatport; it makes it a lot easier for us to promote them. Figure and Bassex each released a remix this week and both have hip hop vocal elements but are still bassy and gritty. Couple weeks ago we got to go see Midnight Conspiracy and Figure in San Francisco. It was one the best dubstep shows I have been too; never has the 100hz snape of a snare sounded so good, along with the mad subbass of course. Hearing unreleased figure material also made even more excited for his future stuff. I was going to do a write up in the show but failed to get professional photography in time. Figure is again releasing more free music to support his upcoming release. It’s the awaited Monsters of Drumstep Vol.2, a follow up to his madly successful Vol.1. Volume 2 features monsters like leatherface, boogie man, the mummy and mr. hyde. You can preview all of them along with some remixes on figure’s website. The EP drops October 18th on Figure’s own new label.

This edit of Oasis’s song has been in Figure’s live sets for several months and he has just released it for free. A little nostalgic 90′s rock mixed with drumstep, what else could you want?
