We love producers who release tracks for free along with tracks on beatport; it makes it a lot easier for us to promote them. Figure and Bassex each released a remix this week and both have hip hop vocal elements but are still bassy and gritty. Sorry for the lack of posts lately, been very busy. To break the fast here is a new hard hitting dub track (thanks to Philthy Rich for finding this). It has god some sub bass stabs that you cannot hear unless you are listening on a well bass endowed system. In other words to enjoy this, find a subwoofer. Figure is again releasing more free music to support his upcoming release. It’s the awaited Monsters of Drumstep Vol.2, a follow up to his madly successful Vol.1. Volume 2 features monsters like leatherface, boogie man, the mummy and mr. hyde. You can preview all of them along with some remixes on figure’s website. The EP drops October 18th on Figure’s own new label.

We were pretty excited when we found out Umek was doing a remix for Pleasurekraft. Both are considered to be some of the top and most influential tech house artists. This is not the first tech house song to be about hard narcotics but it may be our new favorite.

Yes everyone and their mom has remixed Adele or sampled her vocals but they usually aren’t this good.
